Hydraulic core drilling rig, type XTQ-2 is a fully hydraulic and portable drilling rig that satisfies the needs of drilling process involving diamond bit, polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bit and air down-the-hill drill bit. It is developed specialized for consolidation grouting for the corridor of hydropower station and curtain grouting drilling construction. In addition, it is suitable in drilling at middle or hard rock layer in the meantime widely used in various fields including constructions of highways, railway tunnels and coal mine tunnel as well as geological disaster management.

• The drill rig has 6 gear rotational speed power head. Diamond drilling bit, polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bit or air down-the-hill drill bit are selected in accordance to the particular conditions of the construction site. This helps to ensure a better efficiency for the drilling works.
• It adopts fully hydraulic transmissions. The rotary motion and the feed-lifting motion of the power head both are of independent open hydraulic transmission system which is a combination of the fixed displacement pump and the fixed displacement motor. The system has simple structure and an up-to-date design as well as reasonable layout, considering the limiting factors in the tunnel construction. The upper components are light in weight and hence the portable hydraulic pump can be shifted easily. Besides, this allows easy handling on various sudden accidents and convenient for dismantling and maintenance.
• The main hydraulic components of the drill rig are from the well-known hydraulic components supplier in the world. The oil filtration process is performed with a two-stages filtration method and air cooler is equipped to control the oil temperature. Thus, the reliability of the hydraulic system is ensured.
