Exploration and coring drill rig, type XY-5 is a new type of coring drill rig used to satisfy the needs of various drilling process with diamond drilling and wireline core drilling process. It is applicable in geological exploration, hydrology, constructions of water well and large diameter drilling projects. It belongs to the family of vertical shaft drill rig and has drilling depth 1000-1500m.

- High rotational speed, wide range of speed available, equipped with 8 adjustable rotational speed in the range of 85r/min to 1232r/min.
- Equipped with water brake, stable and safe while lowering the drilling tool, labor-saving operation, long lifespan of the brake.
- Equipped with wet clutch, reliable and durable. Has braking system which allow immediate motion inhibiting.
- The drill rig has wide base and low center of gravity. It has the ability to conduct stable drilling and equipped with general and large stroke-type gyrator to be selected by our customers.
- The hydraulic system is equipped with a special valve port that can be used with the equipped machine which is used to loosen or tighten the pipe.
